Course Content

The Health and Safety at Work Act
Risk Assessment
CDM
Supervision of occupational health
Construction related hazards (Excavations, confined space, work at height etc.)
Heath and welfare

This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion and group work.

Course Requirements

Delegates who have previously attended and successfully passed the two day Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
To be able to read, write and understand English to a good level. Please contact us if you have any concerns in this area
You will need to provide a valid ID on the first day of the course, such as a copy of your passport or driving licence
You must complete this refresher before your certificate expires or you will need to re-take the full course.

Assessment and Certification

All delegates are required to sit the compulsory examination paper at the end of the course. The examination paper consists of 25 questions (22 multiple choice questions and 3 short written questions), this must be completed in the allotted 30 minutes.
Delegates successfully completing the course will be awarded a CITB Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Certificate, valid for 5 years.
Delegates will then need to undertake a refresher course prior to the expiry date on the certificate to obtain another five-year certificate.

In-Company Course

This course can be booked by employers to train groups of workers, you can have between 6 and 16 people on a course.
