Abrasive Wheels at Prosper Training

  • The course is delivered over three hours

This course is designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills required to demonstrate the selection and safe fitting of abrasive wheels in accordance with manufacturer’s guidance and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.

Course Requirements

The course is aimed at those who operate, supervise, or manage the use of angle grinders, cut off saws and bench top cut off saws.

Continuous assessment will take place by your tutor throughout the duration of the course. Delegates are also required to sit a short multiple-choice assessment paper upon course completion.

Assessment and Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will be issued a certificate accredited by Prosper Training Ltd.

In-Company Course

This course can be booked by employers to train groups of workers, you can have between 6 and 16 people on a course.
